Questions, answered
How much water does it make?
Up to about 3 gallons per day.* Output depends on the room's humidity and temperature: warm, humid air yields more water, while cool or dry air yields less.
How is it different from the Floor Model?
It uses the same Vapor Optimizer approach in a smaller body. The Floor Model makes up to about 4 gallons per day* and stands on its own. The Countertop Model makes up to about 3 gallons per day* and fits on a counter. See the Floor Model →
Does it work in my climate?
It makes more water in warm, humid air and less in cool or dry air. If your home is very dry, for example desert climates or heated rooms in winter, expect less water.
Does it need a plumbing connection?
No plumbing, no drain, just plug it in. There's no water line to connect and no drain to run.
Does it dispense hot and cold water?
Yes. It dispenses near-boiling hot and refrigerator-cold water, with a child safety lock on the hot tap. Hot water comes from the red-indicator tap and cold water from the blue-indicator tap.

What does “Vapor Optimizer” mean?
It's our name for what the unit does: it collects water vapor from the air, condenses it into water, and then optimizes it through WaterVO's treatment stages before it reaches the tap. The “VO” in WaterVO stands for Vapor Optimizer.
What happens after I pre-order?
You'll get an order confirmation right away. We'll email you when your unit ships, with tracking. It arrives fully assembled; plug it in and it starts collecting. Changed your mind before it ships? Full refund.
When will my unit ship?
It ships in 6–8 weeks (final assembly and certification). It's a pre-order, and it arrives fully assembled and ready to plug in. Shipping is free anywhere in the US. If anything changes, we'll contact you before that window passes with a revised date and the option of a full refund.
Will the price go up?
Yes. Launch pricing runs through Nov 1, 2026. After that the Floor Model is $2,499 and the Countertop Model is $1,999. If you order at the launch price, that's the price you pay.
Can I pay over time?
Eligible US customers can choose Shop Pay Installments at checkout, subject to approval.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. It comes with a 1-year warranty.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes. Full refund if you cancel any time before your unit ships. Just contact us before it ships and we'll refund the full amount to your original payment method. Read the pre-order & refund terms.
